Marshall Mountain

Hiking up the 3/4-mile switchbacks to the iconic "M" on Mount Sentinel is Missoula's most popular trail, offering great views of the town. For the ambitious, continue to the top of Mount Sentinel (2,000 ft climb) or even farther to University Mountain.

Missoula has a fantastic farmers market scene in the summer. The food market is by the river, but if you walk farther north up Higgins Street, you’ll find the craft market as well.
