About Us

We’re Kate and Chad and we want to personally welcome you to this beautiful place. We both fell in love with Montana many years ago and have never left. Kate is a compulsive traveler, sour dough baker (in training), and gardener. When she is not working on the property, she is a nurse at St Patrick Hospital in Missoula working with child and adult victims of abuse. Chad is a Wilderness Ranger in the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness. In between our busy schedules, we spend time recreating on local trail systems, traveling, listening to live music and boating nearby rivers. We take pride in our home and love creating space for friends/family to gather and heal in the quiet spaces that Montana has to offer. We are always excited about the next project, place to explore, or person to meet. It's a privilege to be able to live and care for this slice of land along the Blackfoot River.  It means a lot to us to be able to share it with you!

We live on site in the original homestead cabin and are available if needed, but will keep to ourselves for your privacy. We love sharing this land, so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or needs that might arise.

Also, meet Lego, our cat!
